Many people seeking to get ahead in life, and be part of a community knowing they are helping others and giving back, join a network marketing company.
While the pitch varies from company to company, it basically promises a chance to ditch your 9-5 work schedule, be your own boss, and make lots of money while making new friends in the process.
From making some extra income, especially those who have retired and really don’t have enough retirement income, or someone working that 9 to 5 and doesn’t have time for a side gig, to being part of something bigger then themselves, it seems like a great solution.
Most people know about doing their due diligence. First, researching the company and making sure there isn’t anything negative about the company, including the leadership. That is so important. Integrity starts from the top.
Then researching the products. Are they unique enough that customers would want to purchase and that they can’t get at the general store.
Very important is making sure it’s not recruitment based or that company may be positioned to fail in the future if the FTC takes a closer look.
And of course, is it a generous compensation plan. I just saw a recent post in a facebook group on MLM and felt so bad for some of the folks who had joined companies and really put in a lot of work to build their team but not be fairly compensated. 🙁 I am sure you have heard this but if the business is not paying you well, it’s a hobby, not a business.
So let’s say your company passes with flying colors. You are so excited. You join, and you first, of course, tell your friends and family, and some of them try the products. Yay! You have some customers.
And that’s where the failure starts. What many have heard in network marketing is “build a list”. But what happens after you have approached everyone you know.
There are so many ways to obtain customers from cold marketing, online marketing, social networking and more. But equally important is follow-up. After the initial purchase, it’s reaching out to those customers, either sharing additional products or offering specials or valuable information that has them purchasing again.
That takes expertise, time and resources from you.
If you don’t have any of that available, your business will stagnate. According to research at the FTC, a whopping 99% of recruited sellers lose money in an MLM venture. That means just 1% actually turn a profit.
Why?
Customers! Customers are the lifeblood of any business including network marketing. Yes, you can bring on business builders but if they get attracted to the next shiny object, your income drops. I was just recently talking to a prospect and she had people join her business and they were so excited and they didn’t have any success and just dropped out. 🙁 And that’s what attracted her to this business.
Now, there is a solution …
What if all of this was in place for you?
This company has very unique products that are patented with customers receiving amazing results.
And very soon they will be launching with a co-op!
We will essentially buy the rights to future purchases of these customers while the company does everything: advertising, marketing, research & development, products & inventory, shipping, payments, follow up and more. Every time one of your customers makes a purchase, you receive a commission.
Are you ready to finally have that success that has eluded you? Or maybe you have been successful, but your team has not?
